Vacancy available: foundry labourer (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Cleburne County, Alabama. You will be based on the moulding line. Day to day you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
