Vertical transportation technician — Warren County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Warren County, New Jersey. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
