Garden maintenance worker • Albany County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Albany County, New York. The job is in a residential garden complex. Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Your main tasks: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe Six days a week, one day off.
