Great opportunity: we are hiring a security guard in Alleghany County, Virginia. You will work at a hotel entrance. On a typical shift you will raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; write up incident reports after any disturbance; operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area; hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover. Requirements: • Alert, disciplined and punctual • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Clean police verification with no criminal record Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
