Restoration bricklayer • Choctaw County, Alabama

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Choctaw County, Alabama. The role involves: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
