Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Mississippi County, Arkansas. You will be based on a high-rise building project. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations The role involves: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
