Press setter operator wanted in Monmouthshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press setter operator in Monmouthshire, Wales. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 2+ years on the tools preferred.
