Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Polk County, Iowa. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
