Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Vernon County, Wisconsin. Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
