Falsework carpenter • Esmeralda County, Nevada

Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Esmeralda County, Nevada. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Part-time with flexible hours.
