Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Bamberg County, South Carolina. The role involves top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies. Requirements: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
