Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Wells County, North Dakota. You will work at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
