Gtaw welder — Rock County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Rock County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
