Immediate opening: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Carter County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a busy distribution depot. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Your main tasks: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Overtime paid at a premium rate.
