Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Camden County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
