Rebar worker — Appomattox County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Appomattox County, Virginia. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements The role involves: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
