Scaffold fitter — Columbia County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Columbia County, New York. The job is on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice On the job you will handle: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips Part-time with flexible hours.
