We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Cass County, Michigan. You will work on the press shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On the job you will handle: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
