Gas commissioning technician • Lamoille County, Vermont

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Lamoille County, Vermont. You will work in a gas distribution network. Your main tasks: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
