Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile installer in Menominee County, Michigan. The role involves: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas What we are looking for: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts 4+ years on the tools preferred.
