We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Wyandotte County, Kansas. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Part-time with flexible hours.
