Crane operator wanted in Van Zandt County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Van Zandt County, Texas. Day to day you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,500 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
