Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Iowa County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep You will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; give each garment a final press before packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
