Production operative • Mackinac County, Michigan

Join our team: we are hiring a production operative in Mackinac County, Michigan. You will be based in a textile mill. You will set up and start the machine as per the job card; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
