Bakery assistant — Lancaster County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The job is in a bread factory. Your main tasks: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Score the top of loaves before baking • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
