Join our team: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Randolph County, West Virginia. The job is at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding Requirements: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) Full-time, day shift.
