Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Calhoun County, West Virginia. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
