Sewing machine operator • Banks County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Banks County, Georgia. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
