Powder coating technician • Surry County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Surry County, North Carolina. The job is in a busy paint shop. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes The role involves: • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
