Power float operator — Santa Cruz County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Santa Cruz County, California. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours The role involves lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins.
