Fabricator-welder wanted in Nolan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Nolan County, Texas. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
