Estate gardener — Hertfordshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring an estate gardener in Hertfordshire, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Your main tasks: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Part-time with flexible hours. We offer £3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
