Construction mazdoor — Otero County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Otero County, Colorado. The job is on a residential housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Six days a week, one day off.
