Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating sprayer in Piscataquis County, Maine. The job is in a busy paint shop. You will record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow. Requirements: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Meals and transport allowance provided.
