Gas pipeline fitter • Alexander County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Alexander County, North Carolina. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Day-to-day duties: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
