Conventional mill operator — Henry County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Henry County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
