Formwork joiner wanted in Poweshiek County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Poweshiek County, Iowa. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. What we are looking for: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing The role involves: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
