Urgent requirement: stainless steel welder (South Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Cherokee County, South Carolina. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
