Foundry labourer • Ika North East, Delta State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Ika North East, Delta State. On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Part-time with flexible hours.
