Refrigeration technician • City of Newport News, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in City of Newport News, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders On the job you will handle: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
