Groundsman wanted in Sanilac County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Sanilac County, Michigan. You will work at a plant nursery. Day to day you will weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Full-time with occasional weekends.
