Gtaw welder wanted in Atascosa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Atascosa County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Meals and transport allowance provided.
