Vacancy available: stainless steel welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Harris County, Texas. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On a typical shift you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
