Concrete worker • Barbour County, West Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete worker in Barbour County, West Virginia. You will be based in a residential housing project. On a typical shift you will cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
