Now hiring: we are hiring a site safety steward in City of Alexandria, Virginia. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions You will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry.
