We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Acadia Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
