Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Asa, Kwara State. The job is on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time with occasional weekends.
