Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Ugwunagbo, Abia State. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₦90,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
