Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Rutland County, Vermont. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On the job you will handle: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Full-time with occasional weekends.
