Precision welder wanted in Pike County

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Pike County, Missouri. You will work on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 6+ years on the tools preferred.
